The Twaloloka community in Walvis Bay have had a fair share of trouble in recent years, the community has endured devastating shack fires and has been dealing with high crime rates for years. Equally the children in the Twaloloka settlement continue to soldier on against all odds. Furthermore the COVID19 pandemic has affected this community adversely, many children are orphaned, most parents can hardly make ends meet to support their children. This project seeks to solicit funding to roll-out a nutrition program in this community, the aim is to educate caregivers on alternative feeding for their children while at the same time providing a minimum of one meal to the 500 children in this community. The project further aims to implement a WASH project which will strengthen the well-being of both children and adults alike amidst the almost impossible circumstances in which they live.
