Ending the Transfer of Failure: Why Integrity and Vetting Must Drive Public Service

When senior public officials implicated in serious administrative or financial transgressions are simply transferred or promoted instead of held accountable, the entire system of governance breaks down. From ignored forensic findings at the national airline to documented tender irregularities within civil aviation authorities, the systemic recycling of flagged executives undermines public trust and costs taxpayers millions.

While individuals guilty of misconduct are shielded and reappointed to critical advisory roles, highly qualified, uncompromised young professionals and graduates remain locked out of civil service opportunities. Public funds continue to be wasted on redundant feasibility studies and uncoordinated procurement while core public infrastructure and services suffer. 

The Independent Patriots for Change calls for an immediate end to executive recycling. We demand strict state vetting protocols, full enforcement of forensic investigation recommendations, and blacklisting of violators to restore integrity to our State-Owned Enterprises and public sector. We have formally engaged the Anti-Corruption Commission to demand progress reports on outstanding investigations.
