On Cassinga Day, the Independent Patriots for Change bows in deep reverence to the fallen heroes and heroines who made the sacrifice for our freedom. History reminds us that the brave souls who perished at Cassinga did not die for a political party, they died for Namibia, for all of us, across every region, tribe, and generation.

As a political home for all Namibians, the IPC believes that our national days of mourning and reflection should unite us, not divide us. We call upon all citizens to reclaim Cassinga Day as an inclusive space for collective healing and shared national pride. Let us truly honour our fallen heroes by building a transparent, equitable Namibia worthy of their sacrifice.
