Rossing Uranium, Which started production in 1976.
Chief Patriot was given a historical account of the mine including all the various shareholders and partners and how the product of Uranium from the production to the sale outside Namibia take place, including the taxation process and contribution to the Namibian economy..
He was also made aware of the organisation's organogram of the Company which is some 90% Namibians including the Mining Engineers and Mining Manager.
On the drive to the Open Pit, CP was exposed to the Magnitude of the mining operation ever since it's accidental discovery in 1936 by when one of Louw's Families picked up a rock and later on activated a radiographic image on a sheet of paper.
