🌿GREEN VALLEY WHERE HOPE BEGINS - The Inspiring Journey of Mr Joel Kashimba✨
Just six kilometres outside Walvis Bay lies Green Valley (formally known as farm 37), a developing residential
area that represents a meaningful step towards addressing housing needs for the local community in Walvis Bay. At the heart of this progress is the inspiring story of Mr Joel Kashimba, the first resident to make Green Valley his home.
In 2023, Mr Kashimba was officially allocated a plot by the Council of the Municipality of Walvis Bay. Together with his wife and two sons, he made the bold decision to settle in the newly established area, becoming a symbol of new beginnings and hope for future residents.
His story is not only one of firsts but also one of legacy. One of Mr Kashimba’s sons was born at Green Valley, making him among the first children born in the area. In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and respect, Mr Kashimba named his son Trevino Kashimba, honouring the Mayor of Walvis Bay, Councillor Trevino Forbes, whose leadership was instrumental in making the family's move possible.
Mr Kashimba’s journey reflects the spirit of Green Valley: A place of opportunity, community, and a promising future.
