JUST IN: The Chief Patriot and 4th President of the Republic of Namibia Dr. Panduleni Itula, accompanied by the Kunene Regional Chairperson, Ptr. Bennie Ganuseb and Kunene leadership attended ORUMANA CHURCH SERVICE, the oldest church in Kaokoland-Opuwo rural.
He became the first political leader to visit such a church,the purpose of that missionary in 1959 was to establish a school, clinic and water and of course to deliver the religious message to the people of Kaokoland!
The regional capital of then was called OHOPOH where Late Brendan Simbwaye was once burnished in 1968 in "exile" from Zambezi .
